Hello，my name is Guohong Zhang.

I ‘m a professional Chinese teacher， holding the “Certificate for Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (CTCSOL)”. I have extensive experience in teaching Chinese to children,  I excel at integrating “child psychology guidance,fun classroom activities, cultural course expansion, and cutting-edge technology”  into my teaching.

 I enjoy playing pickleball,and I also like playing guitar.I have a strong affinity and students easily get along with me.I have many years of teaching experience. My Mandarin proficiency test level is 1B. I also hold a teacher’s qualification certificate. My teaching style can be summarized in the following four points:

1. I am well-versed in the differences between Chinese and foreign cultures and can accurately grasp the learning characteristics of children.

Since I have children of Chinese descent at home, I can precisely solve problems such as children not wanting to learn or having slow comprehension.

2. I understand children’s psychology and make the classroom lively and not boring. In class, I am patient and inclusive, and teach according to individual needs. By integrating knowledge points into small games and stories, and incorporating new words, phrases, and sentences into real-life scenarios, I enhance their interest in learning. Using methods such as physical association and role-playing, I reduce the learning difficulty and make children change from “being forced to learn Chinese” to “looking forward to having Chinese classes”.
3. I have extensive experience and delve deeply into Chinese traditional culture in my Chinese lessons. Each class is tailored to the teaching content, using Chinese culture to broaden horizons and enhance cultural literacy.
4. I keep up with the latest technological advancements and am skilled at cultivating scientific thinking. I like to integrate popular science hot-spots into the Chinese classroom. When chatting with children about aerospace, automobiles, and artificial intelligence, I naturally practice dialogues, form words, and write short essays, using interest to drive children to actively learn Chinese. They not only learn the language well but also develop scientific thinking.
